INGREDIENTS

  • Greengram dhal - 1/4 cup
  • Mustard - 1/tsp.
  • Thur dhal - 1/2tsp.
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • feenel seeds powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Garlic smashed - 2 cloves.
  • Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp.
  • Asafoetida - a bit
  • Green chillies -3
  • Lime - 1/2

METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Cook greengram dhal until very soft.
  • Don't use pressure cooker for cooking. Cook in a vessel.
  • Season with mustard , thur dhal, fenugreek, asafoetida, sombu powder, smashed garlic and green ghillies.
  • Add salt and curry leaves.
  • Stir well and remove from the fire.
  • Add lime juice.
  • Serve hot with chappathies.
