ingredients
- Blackgram dhal - 2 tbl. sp.
- Bengalgram dhal - 2 tbl. sp.
- Red chillies - 3
- Asafoetida - a bit
- Mustard - 1/2 tsp.
- Coconut - 1/2
method of preparation
- Scrap the coconut.
- Heat a little oil and fry the other ingredients to reddish and keep aside.
- Fry the grated coconut in 1 tsp. of ghee to reddish brown.
- First grind the other ingredients and salt and then add the coconut.
- Grind into a coarse powder.
- It can be kept for one week.
- This coconut powder can be used for preparing coconut rice.
