Heat a little oil and fry the red chillies. Keep aside.
Fry the other ingredients until redissh colour and powder with chillies and 2 tsp. of salt.
( 1 tsp. of sesame seeds, fried without oil may be added while powdering. But if the sesame seed is added, the powder cannot be kept for more than 10 to 15 days.)
The powder should be slightly coarsed.
The quantity of chillies and dhals can be increased or decreased according to taste.
