Raw papaya salad
- raw papaya - 1 Cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Peanuts - 1/4 Cup ( coarsely ground )
- Fresh grated coconut - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp ( chopped )
- Green chilies - 2(cut length wise)
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Garic - 4 (Crushed)
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
method of preparation
- Grate the raw papaya and mix turmeric powder and salt.
- Keep aside for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes squeeze out the water from the grated raw papaya.
- Now add coarsely ground peanuts, fresh grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix well.
- Now season with mustard and green chillies.
- Add lemon juice and serve immediately.
