Raw papaya salad

ingredients

  • raw papaya - 1 Cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Peanuts - 1/4 Cup ( coarsely ground )
  • Fresh grated coconut - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp ( chopped )
  • Green chilies - 2(cut length wise)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Garic - 4 (Crushed)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

method of preparation

  • Grate the raw papaya and mix turmeric powder and salt.
  • Keep aside for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes squeeze out the water from the grated raw papaya.
  • Now add coarsely ground peanuts, fresh grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix well.
  • Now season with mustard and green chillies.
  • Add lemon juice and serve immediately.
