sesame(til) laddu


  • 4 cups sesame (til) seeds
  • 1/2-cup water
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar or powdered jaggery
  • 1/4 Cup coconut scraped
  • Cardamom powder a pinch
  • 1 spoon Butter

  • Take a pan and heat it on the medium flame.
  • Boil water with jaggery to make syrup.
  • When it starts boiling filter it using tea filter then add coconut and heat till it becomes thick.
  • Roast sesame seeds in the other pan using butter until they become light brown.
  • Add these seeds to the syrup and mix. Add cardamom powder also.
  • Let it cool for some time and make balls.
