chilli chicken


  • Chicken pieces - 1/2 kg
  • Ginger and garlic - 50 gm(grind into fine paste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Corn flour - 4 tsp.
  • Raw rice flour - 4tsp.
  • Maida flour - 4 tsp.
  • Sombu powder - 4tsp.
  • Chilli chicken powder - 1 tsp.
  • Red powder - 1/4 tsp.
  • Oil - required quantity to fry
  • Spring onions and coriander leaves - 2 tsp. (chopped)

Method of preparation

  • Wash the chicken pieces properly and soak in 4 tsp. of curd for 20 minutes.
  • In a bowl add corn flour, maida flour, Rice flour, chilli chicken powder, sombu powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and red powder and mix well with little quantity of water.
  • Again wash the soaked chicken pieces in a soft water.
  • Now add the chicken pieces into the bowl containing masala.
  • Marinate for 1 hour.
  • In a pan pour oil and fry the chicken pieces until the brown colour exists.
  • Garnish with spring onions and coriander leaves.
  • This can be served as a side dish in the feast or in the party.
